Early life and education
Neumann was born to an Ashkenazi Jews family in Queens, Newyork.[1]After his parents got divorced when he was 12, he moved with his mom, stepfather and brother to Manhattan. He attended Robert F. Wagner Middle School, Art & Design High School and Hunter College. He jokes that all three schools were within 15 blocks of his apartment because "his mom wanted him to be closed to her at all time"
Career
In 2008, Neumann did his first new talent show at Comic Strip Live where he said he performed "jokes he stole from his friend's jokebook "[2]Since then he has appeared in The Iliza Shlesinger Show on Netflix, Comedy Central's This Week At The Comedy Cellar, and was the host and creator of Deep Dive on the IFC Channel. He has released two comedy albums, Nervous Lover (2018) and Just A Phase (2020). As of 2021, he is headlining throughout the country.
Personal life
Neumann resides in Manhattan where he is a regular at the Comedy Cellar and New York Club.[3]
