Enzo Neri Umbrian by birth, is an Italian Brand Chef , restaurateur, philanthropist and designer based in the Republic of Georgia Tbilisi, with a wide experience abroad including London, Dubai and New York.
Enzo Neri was born in 1971 in Citta' di Castello in the Province of Perugia. After his studying and experience in Information Technologies, at 29 he went back to college to study at the culinary school Bufalini   and Universita' dei Sapori di Perugia. Chef Enzo's culinary life starts at the prestigious Michelin Starred restaurant Il Postale, in his hometown, under the guidance of his mentor patron, Chef Marco Bistarelli.
Enzo Neri moved to London in 2003 working with Vasco Matteucci at Vasco & Piero Pavilion in Poland street and then with Carlo Caldesi in Marylebone. New experience brought him, as Head Chef, to the Kings Arms, a Botique Hotel in the Cotswolds region where he gained one AA Rosette award for the quality of food served by the restaurant. His further short experience was with Fabio Trabocchi at Maestro restaurant at Ritz Carlton in Washington DC and at Citra in Madrid with Elias Murciano. Neri returned to London in 2007 as Head Chef at Pappagallo Restaurant in Mayfair. After a sharp downturn in business following the financial crisis of 2008, Enzo moved to Dubai.
In 2009 Enzo developed Rococo, the Sofitel Hotel Jumeirah Beach signature restaurant for Accor Group. Rococo opened to mixed reviews, but soon earned its place among the city's best Italian restaurants acclaimed by many magazines such The National , BBC Good Food ME, Time Out Dubai, Hotelier  and What's On. Further in Dudai Neri relaunched the former Al Shalal Beach Club as the new Riva Beach Club on The Shorline Building 8 on Palm Jumeirah within the Awarded organic cafe Sophie's, for Whissle company.
New York (2011-2017)
In 2011 Enzo moved to New York and start managing the Italian restaurant Broken English in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn . In 2014 he became the Executive Chef for the International Obica group. Part of the pre-opening team, Enzo developed the new menu concept for Obica. Flariton in Manhattan. He was also reviewed in The New York Times and New York Daily News. In 2015, for the next two years, Chef Enzo led Gradisca restaurant in West Village . During this time he competed on Chopped Tv Series for Food Network. he also has been recognized 100% Italian chef for After an experience as a private Chef for a well known businessman Ronald Perelman, Chef Enzo moved to Tbilisi, capital of Republic of Georgia.
In 2017, entering the hospitality business in Georgia, Neri opened La Boheme, the mediterranean restaurant in the center of the Capital. La Boheme gained high rate with Gault Millau  restaurant guide and earned first place on trip advisor for 9 months consecutive. During this time Neri became popular for his tribute to Georgian cuisine, inventing the famous Chocolate Khinkali. From December 2017 till spring 2019 he worked as Chef Consultant for Radisson Group, developing menus for Filini & Terrace and newly opened seafood restaurant Andropo's Ears. Today, while is branding Dinehall and Downtown in Tbilisi . Chef Enzo is opening in partnership with George Piradashvili, a new courtyard restaurant inside the prestigious Chateau Mere in Kakheti, in the heart of the wine region of Georgia.
