Emilio Ferro

Emilio Ferro, born in 1988, is an Italian artist,[1][2] currently living in Alba, Piedmont.[3][4]

Career

Emilio made the first light art installation to ever be placed in the Giza pyramid complex.[5] Like all the pieces on display at Forever is Now, this large-scale site-specific project, dubbed Portal of Light[6][7] which strives to blend in with its surroundings and engage in conversation with the ancient Giza buildings.[8][9][10]

He made the installations Quantum at Palazzo Martini Cigala.[11] The huge land art installation by Art D'Égypte encircling the Pyramid of Giza[12][13]is currently on display as part of the exhibition Forever is Now.[14][15][16][17][18]

Biography

Emilio is known for his distinctive experimentalism, execution of projects intended for both museums and public areas.[19][20]
