Elton Ilirjani is a LGBT activist, model and CEO of the HeadHunter Group based in New York City.[1] He made history as the first genderless model to ever walk the runway at Seoul Fashion Week on March 14, 2023.[2]

Career

Born in Albania, Elton became a human rights and LGBT activist[3] after being the first businessman in Albania to declare himself gay[4] to the media in 2016.[5] He has been a frequent guest[6] on Albanian TV.[7]

He founded the Dignity Global Foundation in 2019,[8] a non-profit organization focused on the protection of human and civil rights for women and the LGBT community[9] at the workplace.[10]

He is the CEO and founder of The HeadHunter Group,[11] which was founded in 2011[12] and has offices in 15 countries.[13]

Activism

In Albania, he spearheaded two transgender acceptance campaigns,[14] the "Lipstick Movement"[15] and the "Nobody is Straight'' movement for LGBTQIA+ inclusivity.[16] Elton is known as a celebrity[17] in Albania.[18]

In 2022, he was included as one of 100 LGBT activists chosen as "Pride Icons"[19] for a NFT launch during Pride Month with Eliad Cohen.[20]

Modeling

Elton is a genderless model[21] who has walked the runway for designers[22] at New York Fashion Week.,[23] He was the first genderless model to walk four runway shows at Seoul Fashion week in March 2023.[24]
