Later, she completed her Master of Arts degree in Modern and Contemporary Art from Sotheby's Institute of Art, New York.[6][7]

In 2012, Margulies was casted for Bravo (American TV network), Gallery Girls.[8][9][10]

Career

In 2016 Margulies worked at Culture Corps, an art consultancy.[11][12] Throughout 2017, she led licensed reproductions and the selection, fabrication and placement of artworks by Jasper Johns, Franz Kline, Robert Motherwell and Frank Stella on Showtime’s television show Billions (TV series).[13][12][14][15]

In June 2017, Margulies led the placement of Anne Patterson (artist) Another Sky installation at The Venetian Las Vegas’ Waterfall Atrium, concurrent with licensing digital artworks by artists including Marilyn Minter and Laurie Simmons displayed at The Venetian’s cocktail lounge, The Dorsey.[16]

In April 2018, Margulies managed the Peanuts Global Artist Collective, where artists including Rob Pruitt, Kenny Scharf, FriendsWithYou, Tomokazu Matsuyama and Nina Chanel Abney were commissioned to bring Charles M. Schulz’ Peanuts cast to life through public experiences, with murals in San Francisco, Mexico City, NYC, Paris, Berlin, Seoul, and Tokyo.[17][18]

Margulies also worked on a city-wide public art program honoring New York (magazine) 50th anniversary.[19][20]

Margulies is also the director of Family Programs and Initiatives in MoMA's Department of Education.[21][22]

Margulies founded Elizabeth Margulies Art Consulting in 2019.[7][2] In 2019, Margulies assembled a collection for the Hudson Yards (development) offices of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, a private-equity firm.[23]

In March 2019, Margulies worked on a public installation for Flaneur Hospitality at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 28th Street in Manhattan. According to Culture Magazine, the installation was one where “massive reproductions of David Salle’s paintings Swamp Music and Solar System (2013) soared over the intersection and printed onto the scaffolding netting surrounding the McKim, Mead & White bank building” a historic hostel set to debut in Fall 2019.[24][25][26]

Margulies also co-authored the 2018 book of art activities Art Making with Museum of Modern Art with Cari Frisch.[27]
