Elisa Brown, (born December 23, 1957, Dallas Texas; née Elizabeth Spaeth) is an American classically trained singer/songwriter and performer. Her musical training includes a Bachelor of Music Degree from The Cleveland Institute of Music and studied the Art of Zarzuela (Spanish Musical Theater), Lyric Tango, Zapateado, and Castanets under the tutelage of choreographer Hector Zaraspe[1] In December 2009, she released her first CD, ˆThe Ave Maria Experience", co-arranged and produced Barry Goldstein of NYC's Think Big Studios.

In 2011, she performed with The New York Women's Ensemble at Carnegie Hall with Virginia Luque's non-profit organization, Music for Life, NY (MFL). MFL's mission is to provide cultural and humanitarian relief. A portion of the proceeds of this inaugural performance were directed toward Children of the Night (COTN), a non-profit that has rescued over 10,000 children from child prostitution since the 1970's.[2]

In 2012, Brown and Goldstein co-arranged, co-wrote, and produced her second CD entitled "New World". New World merges Brown’s classical training with elements of jazz, rock, folk, Celtic and new age and arrangements to create a homage to various cultures around the world.[3]

In 2014, Brown began as Host of "The Heart of Art with Elisa Brown"[4] whereby she explored art’s ability to shape society. The show was presented by Conscious Evolution Media Network, a media organization committed to providing programs meant to educate, inspire and uplift global consciousness, and aired on PBS[5].

She has performed with New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Dave Fields [6]in New York/New Jersey performance venues, including The Triad[7], Club Bonafide[8], and The Debonair Music Hall[9].

In June 2002, she premiered her one-woman country cabaret, "Hoodwinked From Heaven" (Hoodwinked), a show she wrote and produced with musical arrangements by Dave Fields at New Jersey's Hackensack Performing Arts Center[10]. At the age of 65, she went on to perform Hoodwinked in New York City at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Peter Norton's Symphony Space in May 2023[11]. Hoodwinked is an original show of country, pop, and jazz tunes inspired by Brown's Texas upbringing. She wrote Hoodwinked at the request of her late father Bill, who suffered with Alzheimer's.
