Elijah Long (born October 25, 1979) is an American film producer and writer. He is best known for executive producing the action film Rambo: Last Blood (2019) and co-producing the biographical drama Tesla (2020). Long has produced multiple feature films that secured independent distribution and media coverage in major publications including Variety, Deadline Hollywood, and The Hollywood Reporter. In 2025, he was named to the Ahlan! Hot 100 list of influential people in Dubai.
Career
Originally from Chicago, Long served in the U.S. Navy before transitioning into film and television production.[1]
He was credited as co-executive producer on Rambo: Last Blood (2019), the fifth installment in the Rambo franchise starring Sylvester Stallone.[2] He later co-produced the biographical drama Tesla (2020), directed by Michael Almereyda and starring Ethan Hawke. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by IFC Films.[3]
In 2022, Long produced North of the 10, a coming-of-age comedy filmed in Abu Dhabi and Chicago.[4] Most recently, he served as a producer on Beyond the Likes (2024), a comedy-drama that was acquired for global distribution by Buffalo 8 during the Cannes Film Market in 2025.[5]
Recognition
Long has been profiled in regional and international publications for his work in bridging Hollywood and the Gulf region's film industries. In 2025, he was named to Ahlan! magazine's Hot 100 list of influential people in Dubai.[6]
