Ekvandand is a small village of 49 hectares in Sagri Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ekvandand depends on bilariaganj, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of bilariaganj and Azamgarh to sell clay pots and make their living.
