Ehsanul Haque Babu is a Bangladeshi film producer. He is the executive producer of the film Rehana Maryam Noor, the historic first film from Bangladesh to be part of the official selection of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.[1] It was also Bangladesh's submission to the Oscars and won several awards at international film festivals.[2] He is the producer of the film "Live From Dhaka", which won the Best Director and Best Actor awards at the 2016 Singapore International Film Festival.[3]
Career
Ehsanul Haque Babu is a producer and partner at Metro Video, the film production company that produced Rehana Maryam Noor.[4] He is also a producer and partner at Crossroad Pictures, which has specialized in the production of TV commercials since 2016. To date, over hundreds of TV and social media advertisements have been produced.
Membership
He is a member of Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors Association and Bangladesh Association of Advertising Producers.
Awards
His film "Live From Dhaka" was selected as the best film at the Meril – Prothom Alo Awards 2019.[5]
