Ehsan Shahhosseini (born 9 February 1992)[1] is an Iranian film director and screenwriter. He has written and directed several short films. The short film Experimental (The Silence of God)[2], which was his first experience after graduating from the Iranian Youth Cinema Society , was screened in several international festivals and won the best film award at the UK Screen Power Festival.
Also, Shahhosseini's first fiction film called (Mannequin)[3], which was made in 2020, was nominated for awards in many festivals such as the Salerno Film Festival.
Ehsan Shahhosseini's latest screenplay named (Antagonist) has been nominated for an award in three festivals of Bengaluru Film Festival, New Jersey Film Awards, and Oaxaca FilmFest, and has also won the award for the best short script at Sofia Art Film Awards.[4]
In 2021, he was on the jury of the Changing Face Film Festival.[5] (Sydney, Australia) and judged the selected films[6]
