Efe Rosario (Puerto Rico, 1990) is a Puerto Rican writer and editor.

Biography

Efe Rosario attended the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus for his undergraduate degree. He is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Latin American Literature at Cornell University.

On September, 2020, El tiempo ha sido terrible con nosotros was published.[1]

That same year the organizing commission of Art-Solido and the Juan Ramón Jiménez Foundation selected También mueren los lugares donde fuimos felices as the first recipient of the Juan Ramón Jiménez International Poetry Prize of Coral Gables.[2]

In both collections, the author offers an original perspective on poverty, violence, inequality and the fantasy of progress. Through an exploration of memory, forgiveness and loss, Rosario introduces alternative visions of the future.
