Badrina began his career in public service..[1], holding roles at the U.S. Department of State and in executive leadership at a White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders[2]. BuzzShift
In 2010, Badrina co-founded BuzzShift,[3] a digital strategy agency for mid-sized brands. As President, he led the company to become a pioneer in data-informed marketing. BuzzShift was sold in 2016, reacquired by its founders, and sold again in 2021.
Eden Green Technology
In 2019, Badrina became CEO[4] of Eden Green Technology, refocusing the company from retail to scalable, technology-driven greenhouse systems. Under his leadership, Eden Green developed vertical greenhouses utilizing microclimate-controlled hydroponics that reduce water and land use. The company's flagship facility in Cleburne, Texas grows over 340,000 plants year-round on just 62,000 square feet[5].
In 2024, Eden Green launched a herb program that grows ten different herbs, each in its own microclimate, within a single facility. This approach allows the company to deliver herbs from farm to shelf in 48 hours, supplying clients like Walmart, Cava, and Sysco[6]
That same year, Eden Green's herb program was recognized by TIME Magazine as one of the "200 Best Inventions of 2024"[7] for its innovation in sustainable agriculture.
