Public Service

Pelembergo did not come from a prominent political family; his passion for public service began during his high school years. In senior high school at Gamay National High School, he was elected as the President of the Supreme Student Government. During his term, he initiated resolutions to address improper garbage disposal in the school and encouraged his fellow students to be active leaders on campus. Upon graduating from senior high school in 2020, he decided to establish his own organization, The Young Protectors of the Children and Youth (TYPCY), a youth organization built in collaboration with his fellow youth leaders from Gamay. After registering with NYC's Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP), TYPCY secured a seat in the Municipal Youth Development Council (MYDC) of Gamay, with Pelembergo as the representative. His leadership in TYPCY and active engagement in MYDC caught the attention of department heads and municipal officials of LGU Gamay.

On September 2, 2023, the last day for filing the Certificate of Candidacy (CoC) for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election 2023, Pelembergo filed his bid for SK Chairperson of Barangay Cagamutan del Norte. He won the election and later was elected as the President of the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK) in Gamay with a total of 26 votes, running uncontested. On December 4, 2023, he formally assumed the position of Ex-officio Member of the Sangguniang Bayan of Gamay.
