Dylan Duke

Dylan Duke (born March 4, 2003) is an American collegiate ice hockey Centre (ice hockey) for the University of Michigan of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He was drafted 126th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.[1]

Playing Career

Duke spent two seasons with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. Duke committed to play collegiate ice hockey for the Michigan Wolverines men's ice hockey for the 2021-2022 season.[2] Duke returned for his second season with the Michigan Wolverines for the 2022-2023 season. Duke won his first Big Ten men's ice hockey tournament with the Michigan Wolverines in 2022.[3]

International play

Duke played in the 2019 World U-17 Hockey Challenge. Team USA finished in Silver medal position. Duke collected eight points.[4]

Duke was named for the USA U18 World Junior Championship team in the IIHF World U18 Championship 2021 World U18 Championship Tournament.[5][6] Duke recorded three goals in five games.[7]

Duke played for the USA U20 World Junior Championship team in the 2023 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships 2023 World Junior Championship Tournament.[8] Duke recorded 1 goal and 3 assists in the tournament. The USA U20 WJC team finished in Bronze medal position.[9]

Personal life

Duke is the son of Steve and Sharon Duke. His brother, Tyler, plays college ice hockey at Ohio State Buckeyes.[10] His father played ice hockey for Western Michigan University.[11] Duke moved to Northville, Michigan in sixth grade.[12]
