Diye Boiro (born December 28, 2003, in Girona, Spain), 175 cm (5'10"), is a Senegalese-Spanish basketball and American flag football player. She is currently a member of both the women’s basketball and women’s American flag football teams at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland (USA).

Born in Girona, Spain, into a family of Senegalese origin, Dye showed interest and talent in various sports from an early age, particularly excelling in basketball. Throughout her athletic career, she has been recognized for her skill, dedication, and strong presence on the court.

Carrer

Dye began playing basketball at the age of four with Ceset Santa Eugènia de Ter (Girona), where she remained for 15 years. During that time, she competed in various regional categories, including Segunda Catalana and Tercera Catalana, establishing herself as a versatile player with strong court presence.

In 2019, she participated in U18F 3x3 basketball tournaments, standing out for her scoring ability and physical style of play. Her FIBA 3x3 profile recognizes her as a player with international potential.

In 2022, she was selected for the preparation program for AfroBasket 2023 with the Senegal Women’s National Team, participating in international training camps and practices. Although she did not make her official debut in the tournament, she remains in contact with the Senegalese Basketball Federation, with the intention of representing the country in future competitions.

In 2023, Dye began her collegiate career in the United States, playing at Colby Community College (Kansas) in NJCAA Division I. She later transferred to Howard Community College (Maryland), where she continues her academic and athletic development.
