Dwarapur is a small village of 235 hectares in Thanagazi Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dwarapur depends on VIRATNAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 43.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Dwarapur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dwarapur's pin code is 301022[4], and village code is 00882900. The area of Dwarapur is segregated as 83 hectares irrigated area, 113 hectares unirrigated, the 17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22.49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VIRATNAGAR and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
