David Dunayevsky born the 27th of October 1989 in Jerusalem, also known by Duved, is a jazz guitar player, composer and bandleader based in Paris.[1]

Duved started his music career taking steps into traditional jazz by exploring many genres before. He started playing guitar at 12 playing rock music such as Nirvana and Metallica and in his early teen years in a trash metal band.

He then moved on to jazz fusion in his late teens thanks to the inspiration given from Biréli Lagrène with Jaco Pastorius.[2]

Throughout Biréli he got to know the music from the guitar player Django Reinhardt with whose work he fell in love, particularly his Quintette du Hot Club de France of the 30s.

Duved relocated to Paris in 2013 trying to connect with the city that had inspired Django to further develop his personal style in music and fashion.[3]

He has since become a prominent figure in the Paris jazz scene as a forefront leader in the style of Django Reinhardt.[4]

He was given the honour of having his quintet named the Quintette Du Hot Club the France[5][6][4](by the Association of the Hot Club de France), a title previously granted only to Django Reinhardt's original band from the 1930s.[7][8]

His new project entitled: Duved and His Three Musetteers focuses on the music of Bal Musette.[9]
