Durjanwas is a small village of 78 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Durjanwas depends on Lalsot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Durjanwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Durjanwas's pin code is 303511[4], and village code is 01423200. The area of Durjanwas is segregated as 55 hectares irrigated area, 10 hectares unirrigated, the 13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
