Durgawas is a small village of 283 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Durgawas depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 22.17% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Durgawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Durgawas's pin code is 305923[4], and village code is 02519900. The area of Durgawas is segregated as 46.36 hectares irrigated area, 138.1 hectares unirrigated, the 51.41 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 47.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.
