Dungerpura is a small village of 1241 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dungerpura depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dungerpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dungerpura's pin code is 344012[4], and village code is 02241900. The area of Dungerpura is segregated as 960 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 280 hectare area not available for cultivation.
