Dungariya is a small village of 360 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dungariya depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Dungariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dungariya's pin code is 327027[4], and village code is 03383900. The area of Dungariya is segregated as 162 hectares irrigated area, 64 hectares unirrigated, the 57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dungariya has One post office (Dungariya B.O) and Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Dungariya has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Dungariya is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1416 and has total administration over 327 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
