Duncan Ogilvie (born 3rd October 1979) is a professional British Strength and Conditioning coach. [1] [2], high performance consultant and a professional basketball player [3]. He was also a member of the Great Britain National Team. Ogilvie is the founder and director of DoTraining and Performance LTD that is a successful high performance consultancy company, working with some of the UK’s top professional athletes from a variety of sports.

Basketball Career

Ogilvie was one of the UKs top basketball talents in 1998. He attended Rose State College and division 2 power Drury University from 1998-2002. Upon graduation he embarked on a successful professional career spanning 9 season and playing in Brest in Pro B, Longwy in N1 in France, LEB Gold team Tarrogona and LEB Silver team Guadalaja in Spain Greece A league team Panionios and UK BBL team Brighton Bears [4] [5]. He was England Basketball player of the Year in 2007-08, an England international in 2005-06 in prep for the commonwealth games in Melbourne 2005 and part of the Spanish all-bosman team for LEB Silver in 2008-09 [6] [7]. He retired after a knee injury in 2010.

Strength and Conditioning

Ogilvie has worked as part of the 2012 Olympic preparation with Great Britain Basketball and Great Britain Handball. He has worked with countless professional teams and players within Basketball, Football, Netball, Volleyball and Boxing [8]. He continues to work with the UK top athletic talent with the company he is director of DoTraining and Performance LTD.
