Dumari is a small village of 251 hectares in Bansdih Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dumari depends on Ballia (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. Dumari is also near byOne lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Dumari's pin code is 277203[4], and village code is 09223600. The area of Dumari is segregated as 76.42 hectares irrigated area, 136.46 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.51 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 6.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ballia (MB) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
