Dugastau is a small village of 3492 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dugastau depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dugastau is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Dugastau's pin code is 341023[4], and village code is 01790200. The area of Dugastau is segregated as 3111.48 hectares unirrigated, the 277.14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 103.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.
