Dr. Scott Katzman is an American surgeon. His practice is particularly focused on minimally invasive laser spine surgery. He earned his medical doctorate from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1989 and later became a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon.[1] He is widely recognized and well-respected in the field of orthopedic surgery, and is known for his expertise in a number of procedures, including spinal fusion and spinal cord surgery. Dr. Katzman has over three decades of experience in the field of orthopedic surgery, and has primarily practiced in New Jersey and Florida.[3] While he is experienced in a wide variety of procedures, he is known for his ability to perform spinal disc replacements in a manner that is so minimally invasive that they can be out patient procedures.[1] One of his most noteworthy contributions to the field of medicine is his development of a procedure called the Laminoforaminotomy, which is employed to treat stenosis.[4]
He is married to American actress Kate Katzman.[5]
