Dr. Karan Rajan is a British National Health Service (NHS) surgeon, medical educator, author, and social media personality. He is best known for his efforts in debunking medical myths and providing health education through various online platforms.​[1]

Early Life and Education

Dr. Rajan earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Imperial College London in 2014. During his studies, he completed an Honours degree in Haematology.

Medical Career

Since 2014, Dr. Rajan has been working as an NHS surgeon, focusing on general surgery. Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he also takes on the role of a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Sunderland School of Medicine. Before that, he was involved in teaching at Imperial College London.[2]

Dr. Rajan has really made a name for himself on social media, racking up more than 10 million followers on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook since 2020.
