Dr. Kalyan Srinivas Raygalla (born 10 June 1993) is an Indian educationist, author, columnist, TEDx Speaker, and recreational therapist. He is currently the Founder- Director at Raygalla’s Mantra in Hyderabad.[1]
Early life
Kalyan Srinivas Raygalla studied in Siddhartha High School in Kavadiguda, Hyderabad. He has obtained his undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from Loyola Academy Degree & PG College, Telangana, and his post-graduate degree in Media and Communication from Christ University, Bengaluru.
Career
Raygalla started his career as a Journalist at Metro India, a Hyderabad-based daily English newspaper. He then moved to CVR English (local English news channel) as a Special Correspondent, where he not only featured young talent but also trained the Interns; during his time at CVR, he was awarded the prestigious AXAYA Media Award by All India Catholic Health Association for his immense contribution towards mental health awareness during 2014. He has been a columnist at The Hans India for a few years; writing about various facets and dimensions of education in India. Having spent a few years in the field, Raygalla’s focus drifted from Journalism to Academia. [1]
Started as a Communication Skills faculty at Vedant International School and began his journey towards education. Later he joined Roots International Business School as an Assistant Professor for Mass Communication. He also worked at St Marys Degree College and Woxsen University in the capacity of an Assistant Professor and Mentor for the students. Later, he started his start-up, Raygalla’s Mantra, in 2018.
As part of Raygalla’s Mantra, he had to do a lot of research on aspects related to facilitating. Eventually, he designed a 7-step approach on how facilitating can be effective and innovative; about which he also delivered a TEDx Talk in 2019[2]. He designed various training modules for students, teachers, and corporates addressing various aspects concerning life on the whole.[3]
Recreational Therapy is one such module he designed to achieve soul-grooming and mental peace in everyone. Ever since then, his message is being spread loud and clear. He has trained over 2 lakh students in India. He is also a World Record Holder at the International Book of Records.[3]

Model United Nations
Raygalla has been an avid MUNner in the Indian Model UN circuit for quite a long time now. Having been to several MUNs in the capacity of a Trainor and International Press Chief, Raygalla is not only an expert of international politics but also a known figure when it comes to Press work at MUNs. Raygalla has also closely worked with Telangana Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society to empower the students and teachers alike in terms of Model UN and helped the society organize 240+ MUNs in their Schools which culminated with a State Level MUN, SAMARASYA 2019 under the abled leadership and guidance of Dr R S Praveen Kumar, IPS, Secretary, TSWREIS. In 2020, Raygalla joined Minerva Model United Nations as a Member of the Advisory Board along-side, Shri Shekhar Dutt, Former Governor, State of Chhattisgarh. In the area of Model UN Raygalla is felicitated by eminent people like Dr Jayaprakash Narayan, retd IAS and others on various occasions.[10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
