Dovnagar is a small village of 65 hectares in Bamanwas Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dovnagar depends on LALSOT, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 19.60% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dovnagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dovnagar's pin code is 322201[4], and village code is 01273400. The area of Dovnagar is segregated as 26.66 hectares irrigated area, 25.45 hectares unirrigated, the 10.91 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.
