Dori is a small village of 1066 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dori depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dori is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dori's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 04135000. The area of Dori is segregated as 362.71 hectares irrigated area, 300.44 hectares unirrigated, the 195.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 120.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
