Dorda is a small village of 4085 hectares in Bhinmal Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dorda depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 70.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dorda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dorda's pin code is 307515[4], and village code is 02304700. The area of Dorda is segregated as 270 hectares irrigated area, 1499 hectares unirrigated, remaining 269 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dorda is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2240 and has total administration over 479 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
