Dorasar is a small village of 885 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dorasar depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 269.17% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dorasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dorasar's pin code is 333021[4], and village code is 00692700. The area of Dorasar is segregated as 269.17 hectares irrigated area, 463.5 hectares unirrigated, the 135.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dorasar is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2230 and has total administration over 391 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
