Dooni is a small village of 3297 hectares in Deoli Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dooni depends on Deoli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Dooni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dooni's pin code is 304802[4], and village code is 02665900. The area of Dooni is segregated as 536 hectares irrigated area, 1971 hectares unirrigated, the 485 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 305 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dooni has One post office (Duni S.O (Tonk)) and Two Hundred public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Dooni has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

Dooni is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 11295 and has total administration over 2372 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Deoli and Tonk to sell earthen pot and make their living.
