Doongri Kalan is a small village of 1167 hectares in Malpura Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Doongri Kalan depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Doongri Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Doongri Kalan's pin code is 304502[4], and village code is 02599300. The area of Doongri Kalan is segregated as 569.06 hectares irrigated area, 220.16 hectares unirrigated, the 261.82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 115.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Doongri Kalan is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2387 and has total administration over 444 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell earthen pot and make their living.
