Doongri is a small village of 703 hectares in Khandar Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Doongri depends on NIWAI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 11.19% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Doongri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Doongri's pin code is 322033[4], and village code is 01298900. The area of Doongri is segregated as 219.21 hectares irrigated area, 217.16 hectares unirrigated, the 80.67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 164.19 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NIWAI and Sawai Madhopur to sell ghee and make their living.
