Doongarwas is a small village of 589 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Doongarwas depends on Lachhmangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Doongarwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Doongarwas's pin code is 332029[4], and village code is 01678400. The area of Doongarwas is segregated as 543.15 hectares unirrigated, the 34.49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.5 hectare area not available for cultivation.
