Doongar is a small village of 249 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Doongar depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Doongar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Doongar's pin code is 314030[4], and village code is 03370000. The area of Doongar is segregated as 9 hectares irrigated area, 154 hectares unirrigated, the 86.49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Doongar is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1524 and has total administration over 313 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
