Doondipura is a small village of 557 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Doondipura depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 13.94% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Doondipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Doondipura's pin code is 322218[4], and village code is 01248800. The area of Doondipura is segregated as 154.35 hectares irrigated area, 115.93 hectares unirrigated, the 208.72 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 55.76 hectare area not available for cultivation.
