Doomhera is a small village of 388 hectares in Kotkasim Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Doomhera depends on TIJARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Doomhera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Doomhera's pin code is 301702[4], and village code is 00790800. The area of Doomhera is segregated as 327 hectares irrigated area, 14 hectares unirrigated, the 25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TIJARA and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
