Doodsi is a small village of 1394 hectares in Jalor Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Doodsi depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 240.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Doodsi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Doodsi's pin code is 343025[4], and village code is 02295700. The area of Doodsi is segregated as 667.13 hectares irrigated area, 444.3 hectares unirrigated, the 64.88 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 217.99 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Doodsi is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4332 and has total administration over 729 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell wood furniture and make their living.
