Dongri is a small village of 248 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dongri depends on GOVINDGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dongri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dongri's pin code is 301604[4], and village code is 00922200. The area of Dongri is segregated as 200 hectares irrigated area, 32 hectares unirrigated, remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Dongri has One post office (Dongri B.O). Dongri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Dongri is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1353 and has total administration over 214 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GOVINDGARH and Alwar to sell wood furniture and make their living.
