Dominique Castelano is a visual artist, model, and actress living in New York City.[1]

Early life

Castelano grew up in a small town in the Philippines[1], where she attended Catholic school.[2]

Work

Visual Art

Castelano is a self taught painter. In 2022, she held a residency at the High Line Nine gallery in Chelsea.[2]

Modeling

Castelano was first scouted for modeling in 2017 while working at a fabric shop in Miami, Florida. She has appeared in campaigns for Thom Browne and Maybelline. She was the first openly transgender person to appear in a Maybelline campaign. She has been featured in Purple, and on the cover of 7Hues.[2] She was photographed by Ryan McGinley for a Heaven by Marc Jacobs campaign in 2020.[3]

Acting

Castelano appeared as the character Midnight in Pose.[4]
