Domenico Girasole (born 8 June 2000) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for Serie D Group I club LFA Reggio Calabria.
Club career
Born in Reggio Calabria, Girasole grew up in the youth teams of Reggina and Avellino.
He started his senior career at Serie D club Lanusei, where he made 18 appearances between Serie D, Coppa Italia Serie D and play-offs. In July 2019 he moved to Casarano on a free transfer.[1]
At Casarano he didn't play many games and in September 2020 he joined AZ Picerno, a club that had just been relegated from Serie C.
After a good season where he also scored 2 goals, in August 2021 he moved to Serie C club Foggia.[2]
He made his Serie C debut on 28 August 2021 in the match against Monterosi Tuscia, which ended 0-0.
In July 2022 he moved to Potenza, here he scored his first Serie C goal on 6 November 2022 in the match against Viterbese. The very next matchday he scored another header in the match against Latina which endend 3-0. Girasole found his third goal in January 2023, giving Potenza the lead in the match against Gelbison. In August 2023 he left Potenza by mutual resolution.
In September he joined Serie D club LFA Reggio Calabria.[3]
