Domenico De Palma (born April 14, 1949, Francavilla al mare, Chieti, Italy) is a Canadian builder and project manager in the residential, commercial, and institutional building industry. He has built thousands of units across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and his expertise includes architectural designs, planning, and future development. De Palma is fluent in Italian and English.

Early life and education

De Palma was born in Francavilla Al Mare Chieti, Italy, a small town near Pescara. He spent his childhood in a suburban rural area of Francavilla, Lido-Alcione. He is the oldest of six siblings and has been helping his parents with the house expenses since an early age. In the late 60s, De Palma migrated from Italy to North America and finally settled in Toronto, Canada.

De Palma started school in 1955 and received his diploma in 1963 from a secondary school in Italy. From the summer of 1963 to 1967, he completed his free-form interior decorating studies, followed by an Architectural Drafting from Seneca College in Toronto two years later. In the consequent years, he was also admitted to the Canadian Real Estate (ICI) program at Humber College, Toronto, Ontario, class 1988. De Palma also studied business management at the same institution in 2000.

Professional experience

De Palma started his professional journey at a professional interior decorator corporation, where he was responsible for restructuring new and old buildings and working selectively in the decorative sector to re-decorate damaged structures such as Church restoration, commercial malls, and villas.

In the later years of his life, through his experience in residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors, he became a master builder. By the late eighties, De Palma acquired a real estate license and sold commercial properties. After spending six years in this field, he returned to the construction industry.

The early 2000s marked the start of his new business venture, where he utilized his building expertise to start a building business. But in 2009, his progress came to a halt due to his illness. However, he remained active part-time, constructing houses in Toronto and GTA. De Palma continues to provide services to new communities in South Ontario and Row Land Developments.

He founded his family business, White Rose Park, based in Ontario, Canada, which operates mainly in Toronto and nearby areas.

Spouse and family

De Palma got married to Rosa Contardo on December 20, 1969. They have three children: Victor (Born 1970), Maura Alessia (Born 1974), and Mario Anthony (born 1977).

De Palma lives with his wife, Rosa, in the City of Vaughan, North Toronto.
