Dolly Valentine is the stage name of American musician and songwriter Leslie Schott.[1]
History
Schott was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.[2] Formerly of the American duo Holy Golden.[3] Her first single, "Michigan, 1997" features the musician Field Medic and whistler Molly Lewis and was featured on NPR's All Songs Considered.[4] Her first self-released album, "How To Be Good"[5] was produced by Grammy award nominated producer Ryan Hadlock[6] and Sarah Tudzin.[7] The album charted internationally on college and independent radio.[8]
