Lee Seok Min (Korean: 이석민; born February 18, 1997), better known as Dokyeom/DK, is a South Korean singer, and musical actor under Pledis Entertainment. He is one of the main vocalists of the boy group Seventeen (South Korean band) and a member of its sub-unit "Vocal Unit". He debuted as a musical actor in 2019 with the main role "King Arthur" in the musical "Xcalibur"[1]

Early life and education

Lee Seok Min was born on February 18, 1997 in Mapo District, Seoul, South Korea He graduated from School of Performing Arts Seoul (Tap dance/Acrobatic Dance Major)[2]

Career

2015–present: Debut with Seventeen and solo activities

In 2015, DK debuted with the South Korea boy band, Seventeen (South Korean band). Their debut EP 17 Carat was digitally released on May 29.[3]

On March 21, 2018, DK, together with Hoshi and Seungkwan, debuted in Seventeen's first special unit called "BSS" (BooSeokSoon), DK being the leader of the group. They released their first digital single "Just Do It" and enjoyed a short promotion period.[4][5]
