Dodwari is a small village of 1088 hectares in Peeplu Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dodwari depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Dodwari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dodwari's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02612600. The area of Dodwari is segregated as 277.05 hectares irrigated area, 511.04 hectares unirrigated, the 159.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 140.93 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
