Diliya is a small village of 206 hectares in Azamgarh Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Diliya depends on Mubarakpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Diliya's pin code is 276404[4], and village code is 08682700. The area of Diliya is segregated as 110 hectares irrigated area, 70 hectares unirrigated area. the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mubarakpur (MB) and Azamgarh to sell sarees and make their living.
