Diego Barbacini (born July 13, 1973) is an Italian-French finance professional, international consultant, and freelance journalist.[1] He is recognized for his extensive knowledge in finance, his philanthropic endeavours, and his contributions to the field of journalism.[2]

Diego Barbacini hails from a prominent family in Oristano, Sardinia, Italy. His grandfather, a notable school principal, played a crucial role as a continuator of Attilio Vergerio's mathematical publications. Diego's multicultural background is influenced by his French mother, Laurence Farrugia.

Career

Diego Barbacini's career in finance spans various international markets, including Europe, the Middle East and Africa, North America, China, and Taiwan. He has successfully managed finance teams and provided expertise in finance management across these regions. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Director of Finance at ICON PLC. As an international consultant, Diego specializes in OTC processes and platforms within the ERP industry. Diego Barbacini is an accomplished freelance journalist, known for his contributions to various radios and newspapers.
