Dhunariya is a small village of 1417 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhunariya depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhunariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dhunariya's pin code is 342303[4], and village code is 01939100. The area of Dhunariya is segregated as 49.28 hectares irrigated area, 585.42 hectares unirrigated, the 53.42 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 728.49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
