Dhoti is a small village of 1502 hectares in Atru Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dhoti depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 893.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dhoti is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Dhoti's pin code is 325205[4], and village code is 03880700. The area of Dhoti is segregated as 893 hectares irrigated area, 282 hectares unirrigated, the 226.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 91 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell earthen pot and make their living.
